Jeitta Grotto, Research from the web, made by Hussein Khazaal Fawaz
The Jeita grotto is consisted of two caves (upper and lower) interconnected on an overall length of nine kilometers. The grotto is situated about eighteen kilometers north of Beirut, the capital of Lebanon. The lower cave was discovered in 1836 and the upper one in 1958. It is a Lebanese national symbol and a top tourist destination.
