My Summer vacation by Malek el Hoss

This summer , I traveled to Spain with my family and my cousins.

When we arrived in Barcelona we went to Barcelona’s most famous football team , F.C.Barcelona.The stadium is called the Camp Nou!

My cousins and I had so much fun on this trip and we visited some popular places too!

We stayed there for one week which was the best week of my life.

At the end, we came back home after this long and interesting trip.

My Cat by Malek Ayoub

I've got a cat called Cello. It's a Himalayan, exotic shorthair. I had it since March 2015. It was born in February 2015. When I bought it, it was a small kitten with short, white fur; but now it has changed. Cello has increased in size and has long white fur with some spots of blond fur. I love my cat so much and i'm so attached to it.

The exeptionist "Edward Munch" created four versions of it between 1893 and 1910.
It's named in English is "the scream of nature" but its actual name is in german "Der Schrei der Natur".

                           Shawarma

Shawarma or shawurma is a Levantine Arab (Syria and Lebanon) meat preparation where lamb,chicken,turkey,beef,veal,buffalo meat or mixed meats are placed on a spit ( commonly a vertical spit in restaurants),and may be grilled for as long as a day.

Shavings are cut off the block of meat for serving, and the remainder of the block of meat is kept heated on the rotating spit.

 Shawarma can be served on a plate (generally with accompaniments)or as a sandwich or wrap. Shawarma is usually eaten with tabbouleh, fatoush, taboone bread , tomato, and cucumber. Toppings include tahini , hummus , pickles and amba.

   Ghosts in my house

My name is Imad, and I love horror movies. Some people think I'm crazy because I watch scary movies every day. It has become my obsession. I love scaring myself like I did when I was 9 years old when I watched my first horror movie "the Conjuring" it wasn't really scary until I saw the jump-scares. 

Growing up watching horror movies was pretty cool, I understood everything about ghosts and human possession by evil spirits. I even think that there's a ghost in my house :( I saw IT.

It was 3:30 (the witching hour) when I woke up by a strange sound. I couldn't move because I have sleeping paralyze (sleeping disorder where I couldn't move and talk, my body is half asleep and half awake, and I could ONLY move my eyes) I saw a strange dark figure with red eyes moving across my room. I researched it on the internet and they said that it's an evil spirit. Since then, I experienced bad things and bad luck at school. One time , I was home alone and I heard footsteps and banging on the door, and lights were on then off. It was really scary but that thing doesn't stop me from watching horror movies.

My obsession will continue until I die. I hope I can experience more of those strange times that happened to me. Some people think I'm crazy but I simply ignore them, others think that it's true.

Summer 2016 by Lana Kaissi

During the summer, we went many times to the beach with my family and cousins. We enjoyed swimming and the nice weather.

During August, I travelled with my family to Turkey for a week. On the first day, we went to the dolphins’ show. There, we saw two dolphins, a whale, and a seal. On the second day, we went to Vinland, a place of amusement. We played with all games. We had a lot of fun and spent a beautiful day. During the next two days, we did a lot of shopping. On Friday, we went to the Aquarium where we saw a lot of fish, sharks, and turtles.

On Saturday, we went to Bosphorus area. There, we had a cruise and a drive along the Bosphorus Bridge between the two continents: Europe and Asia.

Sunday was the last day of our vacation. We spent all the day in the hotel to tidy our bags. Finally, we came back to Lebanon.

It was the best vacation ever! I enjoyed it a lot!

The most amazing thing to me is to discover the world.Mike to visit every country and learn about her culture.This year our family decided to discover our country Lebanon .so we started with a very special village  which is famous for her nature delicious fruits,and also the lovely weather but the most thing I liked was the mix the between ancient and recent ,when I arrived at the middle of the village ,I was surprised of the streets ,the houses,the nature they all show us that this village is awesome! But when u enter the hidden country club you can see that everything is recent.

Swings by Celine Chaaban

My family and I went two weeks ago to Swings, in Zaraaoun. There were many scary but exciting games. We tried most of them. My favorite was The Giant Swing. Then we made a barbecue for lunch. Before we go, we tried the zip line, and at the end of the game, I fell down, but it was not a very big accident. I don’t regret anything, we had a lot of fun.
