Sursock Museum

The Lycee Abdel Kader has Organized an exit for the students of the 4th grade to "Sursock Museum"
This release took place on Thursday 20 October to enrich our cultures, know new information and learn new knowledge. In this museum we have seen many interesting works; There was a photo of an ancient fossil surrounded by glasses that have a form of water drops filled with ancient water of different places, And also there were cubes of different materials like coal plastic bottles ect...
We saw a blue wall in which were hanging photos of a man who discovered the corruption , pollution , and took pictures for hooks in this museum
 This trip was very interesting and we had a lot of fun.

George Washington

George Washington was born on February 22nd of 1732 and died on December 14th of 1799. He was an american soldier and statesman who served as the first President of the United States, from 1789 to 1797. He is also known to be one of the Founding Fathers of the United States.
One of his quotes says: "Let us raise a standard to which the wise and honest can repair; the rest is in the hands of God."

WHAT IS HALLOWEEN
1)                   Halloween is a a traditional folk and pagan festival originated in the Anglo-Celtic Isles celebrated on the evening of October 31 , the Eve of All Saints . Its Name Is a contraction of English.

2)  Halloween is now celebrated mainly in Ireland , in Britain , the United States , in Canada , in Australia , in New Zealand and, to a lesser extent in France . The best known modern tradition wants children dress up in scary costumes like ghosts costumes, witches, monsters or vampires and go ring the door asking for treats with the formula ! Trick or treat . 


3)  It is from the viii th  century under Pope Gregory III (731-741) and in the following century, under Pope Gregory IV (827-844), that the Catholic Church introduced the Toussaint dated 1 st November operating a syncretism with the festivals of Samhain

On Thursday October 20 we went to sursock museum to discover some monuments and statues.There was a lot of monuments but only one drew my attention.It's name is Waste.It consists of 4 similar sculptures made of recycled products.It's focus on the importance of recycling in our daily life.These 4 cubes include plastic water bottles,aluminium botlles of soft drinks,cardboards,

Sursock Museum

On Wednesday 20th of October we went  to sursock's museum, to learn about how the ecological problem could affect us and see works of different artists on this theme : System 67, Marko Peljhan
Ancient Lights, Nicholas Mangan
A Whale is a Whale is a Whale, Sophia al Maria.
The work that i liked the most was Waste, Marwan Rechmaoui, it's build by  a big amount of materiel we use everyday, we can recycle  them and make blocks of them

My summer

traveled to london This summer, the hotel  was very nice, i could see the tower bridge from my window.
I went To many Places : the big ben Clock, london eye... My favorite place was the "madame tussauds" museum. There were sculptures of many Celebrities like Micheal jackson, charlie chaplin, one direction, the Beatles and more. 

It was one of the best vacations i ever spent.
